A Year in Review with Nexus Staffing
For now 18 years, our company, Nexus Staffing, has developed a large network of candidates for clients’ hiring for positions in the manufacturing and logistics industries. We have experienced, talented recruiters who utilize current technology and various recruitment strategies to provide our clients with top candidates within a timeframe.
Looking back at 2019, with the help of you as job seekers and employers, our company has achieved many of the goals we set forth and we have so much more we wish to accomplish for the upcoming year.
First, we have celebrated 17 years of success running a major staffing agency in Ontario. This year has brought us a number of clients and a large pool of candidates. Research has shown that in 2019 the unemployment rate dropped to 5.3% and 7,519,200 citizens in Ontario were employed within the year. This may be due to the assistance of agencies such as us who strive to align applicants with the positions they are looking for and helping employers find the most qualified candidates for the role they are hiring for.
Second, since the beginning of the year we have expanded our service areas to include cities inside and outside of the GTA. We currently have postings for general labour, delivery drivers, CNC Programmers, and more! We plan to offer our recruitment services to more cities in the upcoming year and continue to grow as a top employment agency in Ontario.
Third, we have brought in more skilled recruiters who are responsible for actively building and implementing a service program that is designed to help meet an employers’ staffing and service expectations using the information that clients relay.
Finally, our employment agency has been actively utilizing social media to promote jobs and make the application process much simpler for applicants across the province to submit their resumes. We currently use Facebook and Twitter to market postings and funnel applicants into our system for us to review. Social media has become one of the biggest platforms for job searches and 2019 has brought forth a large volume of qualified applicants we submit to our clients regularly.
